The 1st International Veterinary Practice Management and Business Administration Congress was held on 27-29 February 2020 at Radisson Blu Hotel Şişli. Veterinarians should be good practitioners as well as good managers. It is not possible to provide a good practical service without mastering the motivation of the team, stock tracking, accounting, liquidity management, etc. We believe that it is very important to organize the 1st International Veterinary Practice Management and Business Administration Congress in order to eliminate the deficiencies in this area. In the congress, issues that directly concern the practitioners such as rational and stress-free practical design, costing and pricing in practical services, applications to increase income and profitability, social media and effective communication, brand value creation, legal and ethical issues were discussed.
